Pro Tem was established in 1991 and its Managing Consultant is David Grant. He is
educated to Master’s degree level and had 16 years experience working in Local
Authority Social Services, the majority of which have been in senior management
positions. A particular emphasis of his work included developing multi-agency
services, especially between the NHS and Local Authorities. David has experience
of managing multi-million pound budgets and large numbers of staff in multiple
locations.
He is a Certified Management Consultant, Fellow of the Institute of
Business Consulting, Member of the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the
Richmond Group (a consortium of independent management consultants).
Although Pro Tem is a small management consultancy business, its wide network of
contacts means it can respond to specific or wider based requests for
assistance. Pro Tem can provide named staff for specific assignments or a small
or large team of staff for more extensive projects. Our links with specialist
health and social care professionals, together with associate arrangements with
larger consultancy organisations in the UK and abroad, means we can provide
