NewsWorking with a small charity in Essex to develop a short breaks service for people with learning disabilities
A small charity wishes to develop a residential short-breaks service for adults with learning disabilities in a part of Essex. We've helped them by undertaking an options appraisal analysis and development of a business plan. A planning application is in process. Procuring new residential care services for older people in Neath Port Talbot
We are working with Neath Port Talbot Council by managing a procurement process to help them find a new provider to take over their existing residential care homes for older people, build four new homes and a supported housing scheme, then transfer over 200 residents and staff into the new service as part of a contract which could last up to 25 years. Developing integrated community health and social care services in Gloucestershire
We recently completed an assignment with NHS Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire County Council to establish and deliver a comprehensive change management plan to create numerous multi-professional community health and social care teams for adults across the County. Using PRINCE2/MSP methodologies, combined with practical experience in developing similar services elsewhere. the work programme was progressed to a point where its day-to-day development was sufficiently robust to be handed back to managers within the two organisations. The changes affect over 2,000 staff are aim to deliver over £10million savings across the health and social care economy. The work programme was developed in parallel with the establishment of one of the largest Social Enterprise Trusts in the country providing health and social care services. |
